Meet Our Founder

Monti Lawson is a Black and Gay beginning farmer who has been a community gardener and urban farmer in NYC for over a decade. Recently, he graduated from Farm School NYC and completed courses with CADE for Business Planning, Cornell's Seed Production Course, and the Office of Cannabis Management's Compliance Training and Mentorship Program. He is an active member of Black Farmer's United of NYS, Northeast Farmers of Color, NYY Small Farma and several informal farming, fundraising and resource sharing networks.

Our collaborators are a core group of people that volunteer to support us with development counsel, physical labor, and time. Here, we highlight and recognize their work!

Check back soon for more photos and bios of our collaborators!
